Colours and structures for Halo are deeply inspired by icons, mosaics, architecture and stained glass windows from the 14th and 15th century. It is a sensual collection of twelve jewel-coloured evening dresses. Using transparent, flowing materials, like silk, together with more heavy velvet, the collection re-creates the mysticism and allure of the icons through the cut and unexpexted details.

The collection consists of 5 dresses. Inspiration for this collection came from Stan Brakhage’s video “Commingled containers”, where one can see movements of water. Patterns that were formed in the video became the source of inspiration.
